Maintenance Field Contract Administrator/Manager at our Washington Works site in
Washington, WV. This is a key role within the company and maintenance function. The Maintenance Field Contract Administrator is responsible for supporting safe, compliant, cost-effective, and high-quality execution of contractor work within the Maintenance organization. This role provides field oversight of contractor activities, reinforces site EHS expectations, supports contractor performance management, and works closely with Maintenance, Scheduling, Coordination, Reliability, and Contract Administration teams to ensure contractor resources are used effectively. This position will report to the Site Maintenance and Reliability Manager
Key Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:- Oversee contractor field execution, ensuring readiness, onboarding, and compliance with site safety expectations.
- Review contractor safety performance and enforce adherence to company, site, and regulatory EHS requirements.
- Establish contractor accountability for safety, quality, schedule, cost, and productivity objectives.
- Provide visible field leadership through regular engagement, coaching, EHS audits, and corrective action follow-up.
- Support the investigation, documentation, and reporting of contractor-related incidents, injuries, near misses, and quality concerns.
- Maintain Contractor Administration standards, including Site Conditions documentation and communication with contractors and stakeholders.
- Audit completed contractor work to verify quality, workmanship, documentation, and compliance with project requirements.
- Partner with maintenance teams to optimize contractor utilization, develop work scopes, support competitive bidding, and monitor contractor costs and productivity.
The following is required for this role:- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification, associate degree, or relevant maintenance/industrial training preferred.
- Experience in industrial maintenance, construction, contractor oversight, reliability, or field execution.
- Working knowledge of EHS requirements, safe work practices, permits, job safety planning, and incident reporting expectations.
- Ability to read and interpret work scopes, schedules, job plans, contractor documentation, and field reports.
- Strong communication, follow-up, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with contractors, maintenance teams, supervisors, planners, coordinators, schedulers, and site leadership.
The following is preferred for this role:- Six Sigma Greenbelt
- Demonstrated continuous improvement experience
- Knowledge of and experience with software tools as appropriate; Microsoft Office® (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint), Primavera®
- Knowledge of and experience with the Chemours Maintenance Work Management Process (WMP) to ensure efficient utilization of resources
- Previous leadership experience or detail supervision experience
- Good interpersonal and Conflict Resolution Skills with the ability to influence managers, peers, and Production and Maintenance teams.
- Cost awareness and value-focused decision making.

$110,544.00 - $172,725.00
