About the RoleWe are looking for a Complex Clinical Specialist to join our team in the Medical Products Division. In this role, you will provide expert clinical support during complex endovascular procedures, including EVAR, TEVAR, and branched endovascular interventions. Working closely with vascular surgeons, interventionalists, and the field sales team, you will provide on-site technical support, procedural planning, physician education, and simulation-based training to help ensure successful patient outcomes and advance the adoption of Gore's innovative technologies.
This position is based in the Chicago territory with responsibility for supporting customers nationwide; the candidate must reside in the greater Chicago area, or surrounding areas.
This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations in Chicago, Illinois, or surrounding areas.
Pay and Benefits- $170,000 - $211,000 per year
- Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics

Responsibilities- Case Support: Assist physicians with patient screening, case planning, device selection, and troubleshooting complex cases in the cath lab or operating room.
- Education & Training: Conduct simulation-based training and hospital in-services for Vascular Surgeons, Interventionalists, Nurses, and Fellows.
- Collaboration: Partner with Gore associates and sales teams to develop training materials and improve product utilization.
- On-Call Availability: Provide technical support for emergency cases, occasionally requiring work during nights, weekends, and on-call rotations.
- Clinical Trial Support: Assist physicians & Associates in patient screening, case planning, and device selection, including participating as key member of Aortic Clinical Trials (e.g., ARISE II & III, etc.)
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 3+ years of consolidated experience in nursing, radiologic technology, operating rooms, catheterization labs, or cardiovascular environments.
- Ability to travel 50% to 90% per month to support territories and emergency cases.
- Demonstrated ability to apply medical, surgical, and interventional terminology.
- Must meet all hospital credentialing and access policies (e.g., immunizations, background checks).
