Job Summary and QualificationsThe Field Business Office Manager (BOM) leads, optimizes, and standardizes business office operations across a defined market of 11 ambulatory surgery centers. This role drives consistent execution of front-end revenue cycle processes, ensures audit readiness, strengthens operational controls, and builds workforce capability. As a strategic field operations partner, Field BOM collaborates with Facility Administrators, Central Business Office (CBO) leadership, and Operations to implement best demonstrated practices, lead change initiatives, and deliver measurable performance outcomes. Because the role influences multiple centers without direct authority, success requires strong leadership presence, data-driven decision-making, and effective cross-functional collaboration. The position directly impacts financial performance, compliance, operational readiness, and patient experience while supporting excellent customer service in accordance with established protocols.
What you will do in this role:- Partners with CBO Directors, Supervisors, and Front Office teams to drive performance, professional development, and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across business office functions.
- Provides market-level oversight of business office operations, audits, training, and float staffing to support consistent, compliant, and efficient execution.
- Establishes high standards for operational quality and service delivery across locations.
- Leads comprehensive business office reviews to assess workflows, staffing models, training effectiveness, compliance, and revenue cycle controls.
- Presents executive-level audit findings, risk assessments, and corrective action plans.
- Owns the market-level training and competency strategy for business office operations.
- Proactively manages timelines, resources, and priorities to meet business needs.
- Uses audit results and performance trends to identify targeted development and remediation needs.
- Partners with leadership to sustain compliance and standardized processes.
- Coaches Business Office leaders and supports succession planning across the market to strengthen staff competency and leadership capability.
- Oversees business office float staff, including supervision, scheduling, and deployment.
- Deploys float resources based on operational coverage needs, training requirements, and performance gaps to maintain continuity across the market.
- Provides market-level oversight of insurance credentialing and recredentialing processes.
- Proactively identifies and escalates risks affecting business office operations.
- Maintains a patient-first philosophy and supports service recovery when necessary.
What qualifications you will need:- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience is required
- Minimum of five (5) years of revenue cycle management experience is required

Staff are assigned to work with one or more surgery centers via remote, in office and hybrid working environments.
