• Support installation, startup, and qualification of new systems at customer facilities.
• Identify and resolve process deviations, equipment issues, and operational challenges that impact system performance.
• Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for customer escalations.
• Deliver customer training on equipment operation, process execution, maintenance procedures, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, qualification reports, and process records.
• Provide customer feedback and field observations to support product improvements and future development efforts.

• Experience qualifying and supporting production equipment in customer manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot complex process and equipment issues.
• Experience working directly with customers in a technical support, applications engineering, process engineering, or field engineering capacity.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50-75% domestically and internationally.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Strong understanding of thin-film deposition processes, vacuum systems, and associated hardware.
• Working knowledge of process diagnostics, system performance monitoring, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience with process qualification, process control, and manufacturing support activities.
• Ability to interpret process data, identify trends, and perform root cause analysis.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, capable of working independently, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
