Job Title: Field Application Engineer [MULTIPLE POSITIONS] Job Location: Santa Clara, CA Job Type: Full Time Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Santa Clara, CA is $126,900 - $241,200 year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Responsible for the technical selling and support of company's leading-edge Verification IP (VIP) portfolio. Identify and qualify engagements based on customers' needs and business opportunities, define VIP evaluations and benchmark criteria, execute relevant technical campaigns to meet established goals considering customers' production flows, provide best-in class support, and work with account managers to determine the sales execution strategy. Ensure both the customers' success and the broader use of company's EDA's VIP solutions. May telecommute from a commutable distance. [Hybrid role.] Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a Field Application Engineer-related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: 1. Using one or more high-speed interface protocols such as PCIe, CXL, UCIe, Ethernet, or USB. 2. Using controllers for one or more high-speed interface protocols. 3. Coding with Verilog/VHDL/SystemVerilog, and UVM. 4. Writing System Verilog assertions. 5. Developing regression scripts and debugging simulation failures. 6. Using EDA software for functional verification, including simulators and debuggers.
