You will work closely with the Aerospace and Defense business to develop and execute sales strategies, provide technical expertise, and cultivate strong customer relationships.

You will report directly to Sales Director for Aerospace.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the growth and profitability of our organization by identifying new business opportunities, driving growth in the assigned market, and delivering customer-centric solutions.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage a portfolio of advanced application and system solutions with key Aerospace and Defense customers
  • Develop and execute technical sales strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive growth in the assigned market
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solution
  • Managing a Portfolio: Overseeing a portfolio of advanced applications and system solutions tailored to the customer's needs.
  • Developing Growth Strategies: Collaborating with the SAM to formulate and execute sales strategies aimed at achieving business objectives with the supported customers, thereby directly contributing to revenue growth.
  • Building Relationships: Identify and develop strong relationships with engineers and key technical partners for new project opportunities which are essential for long-term business success.
  • Identifying Opportunities: Proactively identifying new business opportunities within the Aerospace and Defense markets, along with the technical capability to drive growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions that enhance client satisfaction.
  • Account Strategy: Provide daily technical support and problem resolution with your sales partners.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • 8+ years of experience in sales engineering roles, with a focus on advanced applications and systems
  • Strong technical background in advanced application and systems engineering
  • Technical background in sensing sales
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Aerospace and Defense experience.

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $113,000 - $130,000. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $120,000 - $141,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

This position is Incentive Plan Eligible.
