Job Description

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Federal IT Audit - Associate to join the team in our Bethesda office.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

YOUR TEAM.

This position will support CohnReznick's Government and Public Sector Advisory practice. This group is highly experienced and specially trained in the operations, processes, regulations, and reporting requirements of public entities. YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Participate in IT Audit engagements for federal clients, collaborating on risk assessments, security assessments, internal control reviews and other IT Audit projects as needed
  • Learn complex IT auditing and IT risk assessment concepts
  • Work with senior IT auditor and IT staff auditor to ensure the team meets established deadlines and that deliverables are complete and accurate
  • Attend meetings as needed, participating in team collaboration to ensure project completion
  • Opportunities to participate in comprehensive business development initiatives, including opportunity identification, proposal preparation, budget management, professional networking, etc

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:
  • BA/BS degree in computer science, information technology or related field;
  • Ability to obtain a CISA or CISSP certification
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance or higher
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience performing and leading federal IT audit engagements in accordance with applicable federal requirements
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of federal IT audit requirements and methodologies, as well as applicable standards and control frameworks
  • Experience in electronic data processing

In Maryland, the salary range for a Advisory Associateis $71,000 to $95,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, to name a few.
