Federal Contracts Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager for Federal and Strategic Contracts and Relations. You will oversee the complex contracting and relationship management process with our largest customers, including federal courts, agencies and largest state and local accounts. Your role as a trusted advisor will involve leveraging your subject matter expertise to drive revenue growth through beneficial contracting arrangements.

About the Role:

In this opportunity as Federal Contracts Manager you will:

  • Act as subject matter expert and lead on the most complex contracting and relationship processes for major federal and high-value clients, including the Administrative Office of the Courts, Department of Justice, IRS/Treasury, Department of Homeland Security, and New York Courts.
  • Contribute to the success of an assigned book of business by driving client satisfaction, retention, and long-term account growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with federal regulations and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align contracting strategies (cooperative agreements, MSAs).
  • Work cross functionally with the procurement team to advise on their overall process and strategic deals.
  • Communicate with General Counsel and cross-functional teams on AI requirements as they continue to evolve.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The target total cash compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the target total cash compensation range for this role is $147,000 USD - $273,000 USD. Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. Target total cash compensation ranges are inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive.
