Federal Civil Airspace Missions and Program Director The Opportunity: Serve as a senior leader responsible for driving mission delivery, strategic growth, and client engagement supporting the client and broader aviation ecosystem, including National Airspace System (NAS) modernization, aviation safety, air traffic management, infrastructure modernization, and next-generation aviation technologies. Research, analyze, and understand mission requirements and emerging technologies. Develop execution plans to facilitate mission objectives and create new business opportunities. Grow, lead, and oversee technical and operations teams in support of mission requirements. Partner with other leaders across the business to identify opportunities and risks required to develop and deliver solutions that support business strategies to drive modernization within our client's ecosystem. Assume responsibility for current contract delivery and leadership for targeted capture opportunities. This role carries dual responsibility for mission delivery excellence and strategic growth within federal government client and the broader aviation market. Work closely with federal government clients to shape and scope support for their emerging needs around technology modernization to accomplish specific mission challenges. Lead growth and mission execution efforts supporting aviation modernization priorities and aviation transformation initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across mission, operational, and technology domains. You Have: • 15+ years of experience leading large-scale federal or aviation mission programs • 10+ years of experience in leading large-scale federal or aviation mission programs • Experience in supporting aviation mission programs, modernization initiatives, and National Airspace System (NAS) transformation efforts, including understanding of its organizational structure, acquisition processes, operational mission priorities, and aviation regulatory environments • Experience with airspace modernization technologies and initiatives, including Air Traffic Management (ATM), SWIM, surveillance and navigation systems, aviation cybersecurity, cloud modernization, decision support systems, UAS integration, and implementation of AI • Experience in identifying, shaping, winning, and delivering aviation-sector opportunities valued at $50M+ TCV, and developing and executing strategic account growth plans • Experience with aviation program acquisition strategies, contract vehicles, and procurement environments, including IDIQ, challenge-based acquisitions, and task order-based programs • Experience in delivering complex programs with high customer satisfaction and operational excellence • Experience managing program financials, staffing, operational execution, risk management, and strategic growth • Secret clearance • Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: • Experience leading and supervising multi-disciplinary staff and operational and technical teams • Experience in program management processes, including program planning, risk management, opportunity management, and financial management • Experience with business and federal contract development lifecycles • Experience with international programs • Ability to serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and mission stakeholders • Top Secret clearance Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Compensation Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $185,700.00 to $345,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
