What You Will Do:

Assist in maintaining and creating work products using budget and cost analysis and related tools to support operational needs and requirements of the PPBE lifecycle, to include, but not limited to support of:

  • Congressional Budget Justifications (CBJ)

  • Resource Allocation Plans (RAP)

  • Questions for the Record (QFR), or other taskings

  • Support standardized tasks required by program stakeholders, to include but not limited to support of program requests for documentation of budget and cost analysis processes and business rules, and reporting on data findings as the result of key discovery activities.

  • Collect, maintain, and update operational and financial data from required systems of record and Subject Matter Experts

  • Support standardization of data requests, and standardization of data cleansing/processing across all relevant budget and cost analysis

  • Manipulate and process large operational and financial data sets with relevant software (e.g., R Studio, Tableau, CostPerform)

  • Produce standardized deliverable requirements in collaboration with Government leads – to include Tableau Server published dashboards, annual reports, and scenario calculators

What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • FOUR (4) years of experience supporting federal budget lifecycle activities, financial management, cost analysis, and reporting.

  • Strong data analytics experience with large, complex datasets, including development of dashboards, visualizations, and executive-level reports.

  • Proficient with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server for data analysis and visualization.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with experience translating complex financial data for technical and executive audiences in a federal environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate project deliverables and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders across government and contractor organizations.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Analysis of defense and security financial and operational data preferred

  • Data cleansing, manipulation, and analysis with RStudio

  • Experience with CostPerform

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
