In this dynamic role, you will leverage your technical expertise to support underwriting strategy, contribute to the development of underwriting talent through training and knowledge sharing, and assist with continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with underwriting leaders and cross-functional partners to research emerging trends, solve complex challenges, and implement effective solutions that support profitable growth. Your contributions will help strengthen underwriting quality, foster innovation, and deliver exceptional results for both the business and our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Underwrite and manage new and renewal farm business while driving profitable growth and maintaining a high-quality portfolio.
- Evaluate complex risks, policy changes, and coverage requests, making sound underwriting decisions aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with agents to identify opportunities, provide underwriting expertise, and build strong business relationships through regular agency visits.
- Apply loss mitigation strategies by assessing exposures and recommending solutions to improve risk quality and reduce loss potential.
- Analyze portfolio performance, identify trends and areas of concern, and develop recommendations to improve profitability.
- Communicate underwriting decisions, coverage recommendations, and information needs clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with business partners to improve processes, enhance service, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and underwriting recommendations that support strategic business decisions.
- Participate in quality reviews and underwriting audits to ensure consistency, accuracy, and exceptional customer service.
Experience• 4 or more years of Professional experience (Preferred)

CompensationBase compensation offered for this role is $68,500 -$104,100 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
*** Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
