About the Role

As a Family Medicine Physician with ARMS, you'll provide comprehensive medical care to adult, adolescent, and/or pediatric patients in an integrated, team-based environment. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with a network of skilled healthcare professionals while maintaining the autonomy to practice within your full scope and expertise.

What You'll Do

As a Family Medicine Physician at ARMS, you'll play a vital role in promoting wellness and preventive care in a collaborative, team-based environment. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing comprehensive medical care to adult, adolescent, and/or pediatric patients in accordance with ARMS' Primary Health Care Plan, policies, and protocols.
  • Ensuring compliance with all HIPAA, Joint Commission, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintaining an active Alabama medical license and DEA certification.
  • Participating in quality improvement and performance initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Keeping accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records.
  • Collaborating closely with the care team to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Staying current with medical advancements and attending professional development opportunities
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer or Chief Executive Officer.


What We're Looking For
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD or DO).
  • Licensure: Active license to practice medicine in the State of Alabama.
  • Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in a clinical, hospital, or private practice setting preferred.
  • Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
