Qualifications

• Jurisdictional license to practice law and a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law.
• Demonstrated knowledge of family law statutes and procedures.
• In good standing with WY or CO Bar.
• Strong negotiation, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and support matters.
• Draft and file legal documents such as petitions, motions, and agreements.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and clients where applicable.
• Provide clients with guidance and support during the legal process, ensuring they are well-informed of their rights and options.
• Attend court hearings and trials, presenting cases effectively and advocating for clients' interests.
• Maintain client files and documentation in an organized manner, ensuring all records are up-to-date.
