Full Job Description
Provide Professional clinical social work or marriage and family therapy services in support of Family Advocacy Program. You will design, develop, maintain, implement, and evaluate clinical services for Mountain Home AFB Family Advocacy Program! Serves as Subject Matter Expert providing consultation to leadership and medical professionals. Performs case management, risk and clinical assessments, and crisis intervention.. Salary Range is $89,508 - $116,362 based on experience. AFCS Benefits Paid Time Off: • 11 Federal Holidays each year • 13 sick leave days earned per year (accumulative) Paid Vacation Time: • 13-26 days per year based on length of employment Health Insurance: • No waiting period to qualify for you and your family Retirement: • Immediate coverage by the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) • Basic Benefits Plan • Social Security • Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), similar to a 401(k) (Automatically receive 1% agency contributions and up to 5% matching) Requirements for this Position • U.S. Citizenship • Must possess and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • As a condition of employment, government civilian providers must meet all applicable credentialing requirements IAW local military treatment facility guidelines and be fully qualified to perform within the scope of their practice • Practice will require clinical privileges at the host military treatment facility. Must maintain active clinical privileges for the duration of employment. Must sustain current competency to practice at the independent level. • In order to meet MTF credentialing and privileging currency requirements, must have actively practiced as an independent Licensed Clinical Social Worker or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist within the past two years. Additional Requirements: Social Worker: At a minimum, qualification requirements stipulated by the US Office of Personnel Management (OPM) for the 0185 occupational series must be met. Selective Placement Factors: Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice clinical social work independently in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S Virgin Islands. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist: At a minimum, qualification requirements stipulated by the US Office of Personnel Management (OPM) for the 0101 occupational series must be met. Selective Placement Factors: Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice marriage and family therapy independently in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S Virgin Islands.
