Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Strong computer skills (MS Office) required
• Effective communication with all personnel levels required
• Background in Engineering preferred
• Strong customer service focus required
• Able to read blueprints and electrical/pneumatic schematics required
• Proficient in Instrumentation and Electrical trades required
• 4+ years of specific trade or plant-related experience required
• 2+ years of management experience required
• Experience in blending and packaging industry preferred
• Experience with PLC motion control software preferred
• Experience with HMI's and programmable controllers preferred
• Project management background preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety compliance as the #1 priority
• Manage maintenance department functions including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical
• Oversee preventative maintenance for mechanical, electrical, and software skills
• Support various software control platforms for complete package lines
• Assemble components and parts as required by manufacturers
• Maintain extensive knowledge of plant electrical equipment and applications
• Manage inventory for spare/critical parts
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety SOPs and hold employees accountable
• Review SOPs and ensure all work meets compliance standards
