Manage Mechanical Maintenance at IRS Facility with LB&B Associates Inc.
Position Overview: As the Facilities Operations Manager, you will direct daily operations, supervise maintenance teams, and ensure the reliable performance of all mechanical systems within the facility. This role reports directly to the Project Manager and serves as a key liaison between staff, management, and clients.
Qualifications/Experience:- Minimum of five years out of the last 7 years' experience managing large facility mechanical maintenance of similar size, scope, and complexity as the IRS facility
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and teams
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
Summary of Responsibilities:- Manage and direct in-house building engineering, skilled trades, and general maintenance staff and assign tasks
- Monitor, inspect, and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules
- Manage budgets and procurement of necessary materials
Essential Duties:- Respond promptly to facility emergencies and resolve issues efficiently
- Train and mentor maintenance team members
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections
- Foster a safe, clean, and productive work environment
- Manage subcontractors and various repair and alteration projects.
