Full Time (39 hours per week)

SALARY & BENEFITS:

$53.31 - $69.29 per hour. Complete package of fringe benefits including Vacation and Sick Leave, Health Insurance, 17 paid Holidays, and CalPERS Retirement. Travel allowance for field work.

JOB SYNOPSIS & QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:

The Facilities Manager leads day-to-day facilities operations with responsibility for the safe, functional, and well-maintained condition of all office locations across FNRC's multi-site service areas. This is a hands-on role requiring regular presence at all FNRC sites, direct involvement in facility issues, ability to perform minor repairs such as plumbing, HVAC and electrical. Must be available for after-hours emergencies. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Manager oversees facilities staff, manages vendor and contractor relationships. The Manager is the primary point of contact for facilities issues and coordinates with the Manager, Information Systems on matters that involve both physical infrastructure and technology systems. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to responding to facility repair requests, maintenance emergencies, and building issues; acts as the primary after-hours contact for urgent facility needs, maintains current permits, certifications, inspection records, and maintenance records for security alarms, fire systems, and other building systems requiring regulatory compliance. Perform minor facility repairs and maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs, fixing door hardware, patching walls, minor plumbing and HVAC repairs and other general upkeep; coordinate larger repairs with outside contractors as needed, Monitor vendor and contractor performance to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget; escalate concerns to the Director of Operations as needed, Manage recurring service contracts including janitorial, landscaping, pest control, HVAC, fire system inspections, security systems, building security services, waste disposal, and general building maintenance. Ensure all facilities comply with applicable federal, state, and local requirements including building codes, fire and life safety regulations, OSHA-related practices, and ADA accessibility standards. Oversee building security guard coverage; coordinate schedules, post assignments, and site-specific procedures. Security services may be provided through a contracted vendor or directly employed staff depending on organizational need. Supervise assigned facilities staff, including the Facilities/Purchasing Coordinator and any on-staff janitorial, maintenance, or building security positions.

Requires Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent experience considered. Minimum five (5) years of progressive facilities management, property management, construction coordination, or related experience, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory role.

Certifications Preferred:

Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facilities Management Professional (FMP) credential.

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Project management certification or equivalent training.
