Role: Facilities Engineer / Specialist III
Job Description:This role provides operations support and surveillance for existing assets as a Brownfield Facilities Engineer. The position focuses on leading individual small projects to completion, debottlenecking new production volumes/batteries when needed, closing out potential Safety & Risk hazards through engineering actions, minimizing downtime of existing assets, and optimizing production at existing assets.
Responsibilities:- Participate in area Risk Assessment, HAZOP's, Hazard Hunts, Critical Operating Parameter Reviews
- Lead incident investigations (downtime, process safety related)
- Support Opportunity management-identification of opportunities and development of scope of work for projects
- Conduct risk assessments on new facility projects, existing facilities and closure of mitigating action items
- Lead performance testing and plant based trials
- Develop operating guidelines for facilities
- Provide coaching and mentoring of fellow and junior colleagues
Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, or Electrical Mechanical Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience
- Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, independently engage cross-functional teams, and drive work forward to meet deadlines and business objectives
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
- Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications
Role Details:Location: Midland, Tx
Schedule: M-F, 40 hours - OT up to 50 hours approved
Pay: $110/Hr
