Full Job Description
Role: Facilities Engineer / Specialist III

Job Description:

This role provides operations support and surveillance for existing assets as a Brownfield Facilities Engineer. The position focuses on leading individual small projects to completion, debottlenecking new production volumes/batteries when needed, closing out potential Safety & Risk hazards through engineering actions, minimizing downtime of existing assets, and optimizing production at existing assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in area Risk Assessment, HAZOP's, Hazard Hunts, Critical Operating Parameter Reviews
  • Lead incident investigations (downtime, process safety related)
  • Support Opportunity management-identification of opportunities and development of scope of work for projects
  • Conduct risk assessments on new facility projects, existing facilities and closure of mitigating action items
  • Lead performance testing and plant based trials
  • Develop operating guidelines for facilities
  • Provide coaching and mentoring of fellow and junior colleagues

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, or Electrical Mechanical Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience
  • Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, independently engage cross-functional teams, and drive work forward to meet deadlines and business objectives
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
  • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications

Role Details:

Location: Midland, Tx

Schedule: M-F, 40 hours - OT up to 50 hours approved

Pay: $110/Hr
