Position Overview:

The Facilities Director is a senior manager responsible for the operation, maintenance, safety, and strategic planning of Bellevue Club's building and physical infrastructure. This position collaborates with and supports multiple departments.

Essential Functions:
  • Directly oversees building maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance programs, including the Custodial department
  • Manage facility staff, contractors, and vendors
  • Develop and control facility budgets
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and building regulations
  • Manage security systems and emergency preparedness plans
  • Coordinate renovations, construction projects, and space planning
  • Oversee utilities, energy management, and sustainability initiatives
  • Maintain equipment such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems
  • Support business operations by ensuring facilities remain functional, efficient, and clean
  • Coaches and inspires team members, makes proactive decisions quickly, solves problems creatively and attends day-to-day operations via delegation and other management methods.
  • Conducts facility inspections with an emphasis on the Athletic areas in collaboration with the department managers. Documents findings and coordinates repairs with the Facilities team and contractors as necessary.
  • Administer disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies, ensuring consistency and fairness while promoting a constructive and respectful workplace environment
  • Attend staff meetings and training seminars as well as conduct department staff meetings and individual meetings to disseminate information and updates.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly oversees Facilities Manager and facilities team.

Responsible for effectively training employees in all aspects of their essential and additional job duties and responsibilities.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Construction management, Project Management, or equivalent experience; or a combination of work experience and education.

  • Knowledge of building codes, OSHA requirements, and safety regulations
  • 5 -10 years management experience required.

Physical Demands:

In general, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. The employee may regularly lift and/or move up to 250pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up 50 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay Range: $150,000 - $165,000 per hour
