We are searching for the best talent for External Operations Planner position.

The External Operations Planner is responsible for planning, controlling, and implementing processes related to materials and finished goods storage and movement as well as developing / implementing strategies that optimize the supply chain process. Planning addresses capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals and includes customer inventory planning; materials movement and storage; finished goods movement and storage; inventory control; general logistics optimization; and general planning and control.

You will be responsible for:

  • Manage a portfolio including external manufacturers within their scope.
  • Manage key supplier relationships to drive improvement in delivery, quality, and total cost of ownership
  • Plan inventory per sales forecast, to meet both customer service and inventory targets
  • Report the shortages and surpluses of company products to management and be responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Analyze changes in the inventory relating to supply, demand and pricing
  • Follow through on problems related to supplier invoicing, receipt, payment and delivery as necessary

Qualifications / Requirements:

Education

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent University degree required; focused degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain related field preferred.

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • A minimum of one (1) year years of relevant professional work experience
  • Experience in Supply Chain / Operations
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience with JD Edwards, SAP, OMP or similar MRP planning systems
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent organization, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be highly detail oriented with outstanding follow-up skills
  • Ability to resolve issues: both technical and supply based

Preferred:

  • Experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical supply chains
  • Proven knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices, and procedures

Other:

  • May require up to 10% of domestic and/or international travel to other sites/locations.
  • This position may require ability and flexibility to work on weekends/off hours for patient support.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$65,000.00 - $104,650.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.


Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
