The territory is one of Florida's most diverse and dynamic regions, encompassing rapidly growing residential and commercial development, major transportation corridors, critical infrastructure projects, and a broad range of business, civic, and community stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Broward County's governmental, business, and community landscape, along with a demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with elected officials, municipal staff, business leaders, nonprofit organizations, neighborhood stakeholders, and other key community partners. Success in this role depends on understanding local priorities, growth challenges, resiliency initiatives, and the relationships that influence decision-making throughout South Broward.

The role requires credibility, sound judgment, political acumen, and the ability to effectively represent FPL while navigating complex community issues and advancing company priorities.

During storm events and other emergencies, the EA Manager will serve as the FPL representative at county and municipal Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs) and serve as a key liaison with local officials, emergency management personnel, and community leaders. The position also represents FPL at commission and council meetings, civic and business organizations, community forums, neighborhood meetings, and other stakeholder gatherings, serving as a visible and trusted representative of the company and its commitment to the communities it serves.
