Position Summary...

What you'll do...
Leads HVAC/R field teams by coordinating work assignments, sharing resources, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Oversees installation, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance of HVAC/R systems, including rack systems, walk-ins, reach-ins, and supermarket refrigeration.

Troubleshoots and repairs EMS and direct digital control equipment, including low ambient systems and building pneumatics.

Evaluates Technician skill sets and provides feedback to senior leadership to support workforce development. Uses heavy machinery.

Submits required written and electronic information (for example, expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, maintenance logs). Enters detailed notes in work orders, including before and after photos.

Ensures compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by overseeing safe work practices and refrigerant handling protocols.

Conducts inspections and repairs in alignment with federal, state, and local HVAC/R codes, including indoor air quality and cold chain requirements.

Reclaims ozone-depleting refrigerants and maintains documentation per environmental guidelines.

Manages refrigerant levels, parts inventory, and vendor relationships to ensure the timely availability of materials.

Tracks and orders HVAC/R parts, records purchases and usage, and ensures contract compliance with external service providers.

Supports financial sustainability by submitting warranty claims and conducting price comparisons for parts and services.

Delivers on-site training sessions on safety, control troubleshooting, and oil system operations.

Mentors less experienced Technicians and Apprentices, modeling adaptability and professionalism.

Communicates technical issues clearly to customers and stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and resolution of escalated service concerns.

Implements HVAC/R business solutions by identifying operational needs, monitoring progress, and adapting to organizational changes.

Leads special projects by collecting data, evaluating new technologies, and recommending improvements.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and refine processes that meet evolving business demands.

Participates in an on-call rotation to support business critical needs outside of standard business hours. During assigned on-call periods, responds in a timely manner to incidents or requests and supports issue resolution or appropriate escalation as needed.

Maintains company vehicles in accordance with company policies and procedures. Coordinates and transports vehicles for required maintenance, ensuring beforehand that alternate driving support is arranged.

Safely operates motor vehicles and ensures that the vehicle has all required documents. Checks fuel and water levels, brake condition, signals, and lights.

Submits maintenance invoices for payment. Verifies the coverage and validity of vehicle insurance.

Wears company uniform and badge in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback. Addresses customers inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently.

Works or trains at multiple facilities or distant locations.

Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.

Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.

The hourly wage range for this position is $40.00 - $76.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.








Minimum Qualifications...

Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
