Nestlé Regional Globe Office North America, Inc. seeks multiple Expert Applications Development in Arlington VA
Duties: Ensure the architecture of BW Data Warehouse and Snowflake complies with IT strategy and system architecture best practices at all times. Responsible for designing, building, testing, and delivering data pipelines to enhance the Data Warehouse using structured data sources. Develop forward-thinking IT blueprints. Support the integration of solutions with various technologies. Provide the product team with technical expertise, advising on best technology solutions, translating the business vision into technical vision. Participate in the development of and review of standards, documentation, and methods of working in the relevant area of expertise. Collaborate with Product Owners and Data Engineers to drive alignment and acceptance of the enterprise architecture. Ensure the security of data by maintaining the integrity and performance of databases and guaranteeing that data is stored securely and optimally. Work with IT innovation managers, product managers, tech Leads, solution architects and business analysts to ensure any solution within their specific specialism fits with strategic and technical direction. Create design documentation and code delivery. Telework is permitted up to 2 days per week.
Salary: $210,579 - $220,579 per year
Requirements:
Job requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, System Analysis, engineering or a related field plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or Applications Developer, SAP BW Developer, or related role involving SAP BW development. Required experience must include all of the following:
- 7 years of experience in SAP Business Warehouse (BW/BI), data warehousing concepts, data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes;
- 7 years of experience in multiple life-cycle implementations including blueprinting, data modeling, data extraction, data loading, and reporting solutions;
- 7 years of experience in BW extractions from various SAP Modules including SD, MM, PP, FI-AR, FI-AP, and HR;
- 7 years of experience in SQL and ABAP with proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and ABAP for custom development within SAP environments;
- 5 years of experience working with Data Provisioning Techniques including SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) and SAP BODS for real-time data replication and ETL processes;
- 5 years of experience in SAP HANA BW with both Native HANA and SAP BW on HANA projects, including data modeling, provisioning, and security aspects;
- 5 years of experience in Azure Data Migration including extracting data from BW to Azure Data Lake using BW HANA SQL queries, MDX queries, and flat files generated from Power BI;
- 1 year of experience in Snowflake, creating extracts, virtual Data warehouses and troubleshooting data issues.
