Description of the Role:As an Experienced Used Car Manager at Envision Honda of Milpitas, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of our used car department. You will play a crucial role in managing inventory, developing pricing strategies, and ensuring a seamless car buying experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee the used car department, including the buying, pricing, and selling of used vehicles
- Develop and implement effective inventory control strategies to ensure a diverse and high-quality selection of used cars
- Analyze market trends and price vehicles competitively to maximize sales and profitability
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the car buying process
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and dealership policies
- Maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, auctions, and other sources to acquire quality used vehicles
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and provide ongoing training and development
Requirements:- Prior experience in automotive sales, preferably in a managerial role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a successful used car department
- In-depth knowledge of the used car market, including pricing, sourcing, and industry trends
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
- Proficient in dealership management software and tools
- Valid driver's license
- Must pass the background check and drug test
