This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization.

The B-52J CERP program will upgrade the B-52 with modern engines, avionics, and support equipment. The CERP Simulation Software team is responsible for enhancing the existing B-52 simulation software to support the simulation of the new engine system components. A candidate selected for this position will join an experienced simulation software team and collaborate with the larger software organization supporting the B-52. They will participate in leadership activities as the Agile product owner or Scrum Master of a test team, depending on their preference and skills, and help guide testing efforts under the direction of a senior simulation software lead. The candidate is expected to bring fresh perspectives to identify process improvements in existing test plans and workflows, including new automation techniques, integration of artificial intelligence accelerators, and other enhancements.

The standard work schedule for this position is a 9/80 schedule, meaning nine hours per day Monday through Thursday, eight hours on alternating Fridays, and every other Friday off. The position is primarily on-site in Oklahoma City but can support remote work as needed, with a preference for working at an appropriate Boeing site in the candidate’s home city or nearby (rather than from home). Additionally, Boeing supports flexible shift options, including evenings, weekends, and work-from-home (WFH) arrangements on an as-needed basis.
