The Aerospace Composite Center has state-of-the-art enabled capabilities and operates to support Boeing’s Fighter Programs.

We are seeking a skilled information and application developer to join our team supporting the diverse Information Technology ecosystem within the ACC domain. This role is a critical enabler for exciting work related to the production of several of Boeing's critical defense products.

The Programmer/Analyst (MB) designs, programs, tests, implements, documents, and maintains software applications and application systems that supportbusiness and manufacturing operations. This role partners withend usersandcross-functional teamsto gather requirements, defineapplication architecture, ensuresoftware compatibilityandapplication security, and deliverreliable, maintainable solutions. The Programmer/Analyst also supportsupgrades and enhancements, resolves issues, and reviewssystem performanceto recommend and implement improvements across adiverse suite of applications.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, program, test, implement, document, and maintaincomputing applications and application systemsusing.NETandJava

  • Gather and evaluateend-user requirements; translate needs intotechnical designs,code, anddatabase objectsbased on documented specifications

  • Analyze information to determineapplication architecture specifications,software compatibility parameters, andapplication security needs

  • Design and integrateapplication architectureby connectingapplication software,databases, anddelivery subsystemsfor specific applications

  • Develop and administerSQL Server databases, including creation and maintenance oftables, views, and database objects

  • Modify and upgrade applications to maintainsoftware functionalityand meetchanging business requirements

  • Reviewsystem performance, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend or implement changes to enhancereliabilityandmaintainability

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance (Post-Start)

  • 3+ years of experience developing with C#/.NET

  • 3+ years of experience developing with Java

  • 3+ years of experience developing and administeringSQL Server databases

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • SQLexperience, includingstored procedures(OraclePL/SQLpreferred)

  • Experience working on teams that develop and maintain adiverse suite of software applications

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Experience with development and support ofMRP/ERP systems

  • Experience withManufacturing Quality Systems (QMS)

  • Experience withWorkforce Managementand/orTime & Attendanceapplications

  • Experience withmaterial tracking systems
