Responsibilities

Job Summary:

  • The Experienced Product Marketing Manager will support the development and execution of marketing strategies that drive demand and adoption of our products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for understanding customer needs, market trends, and how to position products effectively to gain market share. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure our products resonate with target customers. This role operates with moderate supervision, receiving guidance from the Director, Product Marketing and collaborating closely with cross-functional peers.

Product Positioning & Messaging:

  • Develop clear, compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing materials

Go-to-Market Strategy:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies for product launches, ensuring alignment with sales and marketing teams

Market Research:

  • Conduct market research to identify and understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends to inform product development and marketing strategy

 

Product Launches:

  • Work closely with the Director, Product Marketing to drive product launch efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and effective communication

 

Sales Enablement:

  • Develop and deliver sales enablement materials to ensure sales teams can effectively position and sell products

 

Content Creation:

  • Collaborate with product managers to produce high-quality marketing collateral such as slicks, factsheets, FAQs, blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, and product demos

 

Campaign Management:

  • Support the development and management of marketing campaigns under the guidance of the Director, Product Marketing
  • Contribute to marketing campaign strategy and support execution of campaign plans, receiving guidance from the Director, Product Marketing on priorities and approach

 

Performance Tracking:

  • Analyze and report on the performance of marketing initiatives to measure success and refine strategies
  • Assist in analyzing and reporting on the performance of marketing initiatives to support data-driven refinements

 

Key Metrics for Success:

  • Product Launch Goal Attainment: Contribute to product launch goal attainment targets (meeting or exceeding targets for product launches, including sales, adoption, and engagement goals)
  • Win/Loss Ratio on Competitive Deals: Support improvement in win rates against key competitors through competitive enablement materials

 

Qualifications
  • Typically requires 3+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, with expanding knowledge and demonstrated growth in the discipline
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle and marketing strategies
  • Experience with product launches, go-to-market planning, and sales enablement
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and other teams
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven marketing
  • Experience with digital marketing channels, including social media, email, and SEO keywords
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Preferred skills in marketing automation tools (HubSpot) and CRM (Salesforce)
