What You'll DoWe have an exciting opportunity within the Benefits & Protection Portfolio Office for a Portfolio Manager who can contribute in an outcome focused agile organization. This is a chance to engage with multiple roles and stakeholders across businesses, functions, technology product families, providing project and portfolio management, and enabling support that helps us accomplish business initiatives together.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Lead critical initiatives while working across business functions and technology product families to drive outcome - focused solution delivery.
- Operate within a product leadership team to provide project and portfolio management, supporting leaders, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Lead planning, prioritization, risk, dependency, and investment management to bring clarity, organization, and transparency to business-critical work.
- Orchestrate and strengthen delivery execution across product teams, ensuring alignment and coordination across teams and products.
- Optimize delivery health, predictability, and continuous improvement while advancing shared standards, metrics, and ways of working through agile practices.
- Navigate ambiguity and change while building strong relationships, empowering teams, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and growth.
Who You Are
We are looking for someone with:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of project/program/portfolio management, including experience supporting or leading software delivery in Agile environments.
- Demonstrated capability to effectively oversee numerous priorities and manage delivery for complex initiatives involving multiple teams, dependencies, and stakeholders within a fast-paced setting.
- Proficient in leveraging and tailoring portfolio/project management approaches in an agile outcome driven organization.
- Advanced in planning, organization, prioritization, dependencies, problem solving, and stakeholder engagement.
- Able to work independently and in a team orientated environment.
- Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and influencing abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Expertise in agile, product, and dev-ops concepts, with the ability to adapt practices based on context.
- Demonstrated adaptability and results orientation.
Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range$110200 - $171000 / year
Salary Details
The following salary ranges reflect market-specific compensation for this position across multiple job levels. Candidates will be evaluated to determine the appropriate job level based on their skills and experience.
- Portfolio Manager 2: $110,200 - $148,200 / year
- Strategic Portfolio Manager I: $127,000 - $171,000 / year
Time Off ProgramFlexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
