Experienced Florida Family Law Paralegal to join our established and growing law firm in Melbourne, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and is committed to providing exceptional client service.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of recent Florida family law experience and be proficient in drafting pleadings, financial affidavits, discovery, trial preparation, e-filing, and coordinating hearings, mediations, and depositions. Experience with equitable distribution worksheets, family law case management, and local court procedures is strongly preferred.
This position requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, and the confidence to work independently while collaborating closely with attorneys, legal assistants, and other members of the legal team. Because our paralegals maintain frequent communication with clients, compassion, professionalism, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Qualifications
• Minimum of five (5) years of recent Florida Family Law paralegal experience required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of law firm litigation experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure and local court practices.
• Experience preparing financial affidavits, mandatory disclosures, discovery, and equitable distribution worksheets.
• Experience with trial preparation and evidence organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and legal case management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
• High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
