Cannon & Associates is seeking an Experienced full-time Family Law Attorney to join our Edmond team of Fierce Advocates.
Our Family Law team represents clients through some of the most difficult and life-changing moments of their lives. We take that responsibility seriously. We are looking for an experienced Family Law Attorney who is a strong advocate, confident in the courtroom, and comfortable handling complex family law matters. The right attorney understands that exceptional client service and exceptional legal work go hand in hand. You should be able to think strategically, communicate clearly, manage your cases with ownership, and work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and the broader team.

Responsibilities
• Lead and manage family law cases from start to finish, ensuring each client receives personalized attention and expert guidance.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide clients with informed advice.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Represent clients in court, advocating passionately and effectively to achieve the best outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with our Family Law Team to share insights, strategies, and support for complex cases.
• Keep clients informed and engaged throughout the legal process, building trust and confidence in our services.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for case settlements, balancing client interests with legal possibilities.
Qualifications
• 3 years + Experience in Family Law, with a focus on divorce, child custody, support, and adoption matters.
• Ability to draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
• Proven track record of leading the discovery process, including depositions and interrogatories.
• Strong communication skills to regularly update and advise clients on case progress.
• Experience in preparing cases for hearings, trials, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with paralegals and support staff for smooth case management.
