Qualifications
• At least 6 years of family law experience, and an NC Law License
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations
• 4-year degree with a legal background and a J.D. degree are necessary for this position
• Experience with billing and keeping track of billable time on cases
• Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations
• Team-oriented, flexible, organized, and willing to work across office locations when needed is a plus
• Self-starter who will take the proactive initiative to complete priorities on a daily basis
• Ability to creatively problem-solve and come up with workable solutions, figure things out on your own
• Must be willing to travel locally around Charlotte for mediations, depositions, and court.
