Experienced Estimating and Pricing Specialist (Material)
Position Responsibilities:- Develops estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and support stages of the program
- Leads development, and application of estimating, and pricing strategies using innovative computational techniques
- Guides business proposals, evaluates, and makes recommendations based on complex or unique requests for proposals, and substantiates estimates, and pricing
- Leads and performs analysis, and provides recommendations in support of pricing, and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)
- Coordinates and collaborates with proposal teams, and cost element functional owners to develop appropriate basis of estimate, and substantiation of cost estimates, proposals, and other related business decision data
- Provides fact-finding, negotiation and audit support of cost proposal artifacts, and coordinate responses through proposal teams
- Supports, prepares, and briefs senior leader-level presentations
- Identifies, assesses and implements changes to processes, tools, and techniques to simplify estimating, and pricing methodologies, and improve cost estimating accuracy
- Supports compliance activities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
- 3+ years of experience developing financial estimates
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- 5+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
- Experience with and knowledge of United States Government Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Experience leading projects with little direct supervision and drive project to completion
- Experience presenting to senior leadership

Summary Pay Range: $93,500 - $126,500
