Full Job Description
Executive Partner, Supply Chain (Life Sciences) serves as a trusted advisor to senior supply chain leaders, including VPs, SVPs, EVPs, and Chief Supply Chain Officers across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and broader life sciences organizations. Leveraging Gartner research, analyst expertise, and a robust peer network, Executive Partners help clients navigate mission-critical priorities, shape strategy, drive transformation, and accelerate business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 25-30 executive member relationships across leading life sciences organizations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on critical initiatives, including supply chain strategy, operating model design, resilience, planning, manufacturing, distribution, quality, and digital transformation.
  • Serve as an extension of the client's leadership team, providing objective guidance and actionable recommendations on strategic priorities.
  • Facilitate executive workshops, strategy sessions, and peer networking opportunities to drive alignment and business results.
  • Connect members with Gartner research, analysts, best practices, and peer insights to accelerate decision-making and execution.
  • Develop customized engagement and value plans focused on measurable business outcomes.
  • Support all phases of the member lifecycle, including onboarding, engagement, delivery, value realization, and renewal.
  • Partner closely with Gartner sales and leadership teams to drive client retention, growth, and overall member success.
  • Help clients achieve meaningful progress against their most important business objectives through ongoing advisory support and thought leadership.


What You'll Need
  • 20+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience within life sciences organizations and/or life sciences consulting environments.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, quality, regulatory considerations, and supply chain transformation.
  • Experience advising and influencing senior executives, including VP, SVP, EVP, and C-suite leaders.
  • Strong understanding of how supply chain strategy supports broader business growth, innovation, resilience, and operational excellence.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 160,000 USD - 194,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
