Job Description:

Schedule: Monday-Friday. Due to the 24-hour nature of hospice care, this position requires availability and responsiveness beyond regular business hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and participation in on-call coverage as needed to ensure continuous patient and family support.

Location: Florida Region of our AdventHealth Hospice. Main office location is Altamonte Springs.

Monitors schedules to maximize operating revenue and improve patient satisfaction. Serves as a positive role model by encouraging teamwork and cooperation among staff. Manages daily productivity and operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service. Oversees staff performance, providing guidance, support, and conflict resolution as needed. Coordinates activities and prioritizes tasks to optimize department operations. Participates in staff orientation, education, and competency development activities. Attends, leads, and facilitates staff meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Ensures compliance with all regulatory and safety standards and protocols. Develops and implements strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and operational efficiency. Collaborates with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and service delivery. Analyzes operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Other duties as assigned.

• Broad knowledge of Hospice care models and operational models [Required]• Knowledge and experience in the regulatory and compliance requirements for Hospice care set by CMS and other appropriately appointed local, state, federal bodies.
