Overview

Responsible for the day-to-day management and overall direction of their assigned branch(es) and/or program(s) and for carrying out the organization’s purposes effectively.  Direct responsibility of ensuring the branch(es) and/or programs meet all applicable Federal, State and local laws regarding the certification and licensure process at all times. Responsible for long range planning, fiscal viability and quality of care provided by the branch.  Recruits, interviews and hires staff and measures/monitors quality care and organizational performance.  Assist other disciplines in coordinating activities when necessary, assuming responsibility for continuity, appropriateness and quality of services delivered.  Delegates authority appropriately and works to achieve coordination of all aspects of BrightSpring Health Services programs.  Implements and maintains the budget of assigned area/region.  Directly manages the leadership staff of location(s) within their area/region.

Responsibilities
  • Plans, organizes, and directs all functions of location(s) within a designated area/region.
  • Is competent as a resource to the leadership team regarding the needs of the community, personnel needs, financial needs and changes in Federal and/or State regulations that affect the company.
  • Ensures that all records and reports required by the State are completed, reviewed and submitted.
  • Responsible for the overall supervision of all staff within designated area/region. Provides management support for location leaders within region.
  • Ensures orientation, evaluation, continuing education, and any compliance training for all staff is completed in a timely manner.
  • Collaborates with Support Center to Secure contracts for service not directly provided by the company, when appropriate for ensuring quality patient care.
  • Responsible for the monitoring and oversight of the approved budget(s), while ensuring adequate space, equipment and supplies are available.
  • Provides oversight to ensure the coordinated implementation of plans of treatment and utilization of services for comprehensive patient care within their area of responsibility.
  • Develops and implements a program of educating physicians, medical staff, patients and community members regarding home health and/or hospice services in collaboration with Sales and regional support staff.
  • Maintains positive relationships with patients, family members and physicians.
  • Handles necessary employee corrective action and discipline issues fairly and objectively, in consultation with the Human Resources Department and the Director of Operations.
  • Directs the hiring and training of personnel and coordinates with Recruiting/Human Resources Department in a timely manner regarding staffing needs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited diploma, Associate, Baccalaureate or Master’s School of Nursing or other applicable field of study in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, clinical specialty or equivalent home health or hospice experience.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience as an Administrator or an equivalent leadership role within a community health organization, home health and/or hospice company. Progressively responsible supervisory duties within the past 6 years.
  • Registered Nurse with current licensure to practice in state of operation
  • Ability to educate, lead, and inspire others
  • Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community
  • Excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare program development principles and techniques required.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid, accreditation agency standards and managed care/ private insurance plans required.
Salary RangeUSD $110,000.00 - $120.00 / Year
