Job Description:

Oversees business operations, finance, database operations, donor relations, annual giving, and marketing communications. Manages Directors of Internal Operations, Annual Giving and Donor Relations, and Philanthropy Services. Provides operational support to multiple Foundations. Partners with other Foundations to share best practices and resources. Develops and implements plans to improve the Foundation's operational infrastructure for growth and efficiency. Ensures adherence to standard operating policies and promotes best practices. Acts as a strategic partner to fundraisers, overseeing operations to advance fundraising goals. Collaborates with tax and legal departments on governance, including bylaws, charters, articles of incorporation, and IRS filings. Manages annual compliance with state registration requirements. Oversees the Foundation's operating budget and individual Foundation budgets with team support. Maintains accurate financial reporting and fosters donor relationships. Implements effective marketing strategies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Setting goals for personal and group accomplishment and using measurement methods to monitor progress toward goals [Required]• Knowledge of fundraising best practices [Required]• Knowledge of fundraising software applications such as NXT [Required]• Experience in reviewing written communication pieces for internal and external audiences as it relates to fundraising [Required]• Project management experience with video creation, digital marketing, and direct mail and print production [Required]• Knowledge of wealth screening tools such as iWave and ResearchPoint [Required]• Ability to identify opportunities and taking action to build strategic relationships between the philanthropy department and other areas, teams, department, units or organizations to help achieve business goals [Required]• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills [Required]• Ability to effectively express ideas and views through public speaking, presentations, reports, and professional correspondences [Required]• Exceptional people management, leadership skills, and the capacity to relate to people in a manner that wins confidence, builds trust and establishes support [Required]
