The Opportunity
The Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) is seeking an exceptional Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer to lead the premier organization advancing sustainability across the global pet industry. This is a unique opportunity to shape an entire industry by convening competitors, inspiring collaboration, and accelerating measurable environmental and business impact. The CEO serves as PSC's chief strategist, ambassador, relationship builder, and organizational leader.

Strategic Context
Sustainability is increasingly recognized as a driver of innovation, resilience, and long-term business success. As regulatory expectations, consumer preferences, investor scrutiny, and supply chain risks continue to evolve, PSC is uniquely positioned to help the industry respond. First-Year Focus
  • Build trust with members, partners, staff, and the Board.
  • Evaluate existing programs for relevance, impact, and financial sustainability while clarifying PSC's long-term strategic position.
  • Identify the highest-leverage opportunities where PSC can uniquely convene the industry.
  • Increase visibility through strategic partnerships, speaking engagements, and thought leadership.
  • Develop a three-year strategy focused on measurable industry transformation and organizational resilience.

Salary: $150,000 to $175,000, commensurate with experience.
