This posting is for a 12 month, full-time, in person unclassified staff position on site at our Natchitoches Campus.

Minimum Qualifications
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships across academic, workforce, enrollment management and student services, and community organizations.
• Experience utilizing data and performance metrics to drive enrollment growth, retention, completion, placement, and student success initiatives.
• Strong understanding of enrollment management, academic affairs, workforce development, and student support services.
• Experience developing community partnerships and representing an organization in public and professional settings.
• Master's degree from an accredited educational institution.
• At least five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative or leadership experience in higher education or an educational environment, including experience with annual planning and evaluations.
• Understanding of contemporary issues facing first-time college students and/or adults and best practices.
• Training or experience in ancillary areas of student support such as Title IX, student. conduct, and student activities preferred.
• Knowledge of facility services and campus budgets; strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid Driver's License.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials, supplies, and equipment weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to travel regularly between the Natchitoches, Sabine Valley, and Bossier Parish Community College campuses, as well as throughout the service area.
• Ability to attend and participate in community events, outreach activities, and campus events, which may occur during evenings and weekends.
• Must have use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear and handle or feel objects and controls.
• Must have physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office equipment such as, but not limited to, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine.
• Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 10 pounds.
• Must be capable of remaining in a stationary position for 50% or more of the time.

Job Specification
The Executive Dean of Regional Campuses serves as the senior administrative leader for BPCC's Natchitoches and Sabine Valley campuses and is responsible for the overall coordination, operation, growth, and community presence of both campuses. The Executive Dean provides campus-level leadership across student success, academic and workforce coordination, enrollment support, budgets, technology, facilities, community engagement, and institutional effectiveness while working collaboratively with the College's functional and academic leadership.

Job Duties and Other Information

Leadership and Student Success
• Serve as the primary liaison and collaborative leader among Academic Affairs, Workforce Development, Adult Education, and Enrollment Management and Student Services to ensure coordinated delivery of services and student success initiatives.
• Support Academic Deans in monitoring enrollment, retention, persistence, completion, credential attainment, and placement outcomes for programs offered at the Natchitoches and Sabine Valley campuses and recommend campus-level strategies to support established goals.
oElevate any issues that are barriers to Student Success to the appropriate Vice Chancellor (or designee).
• Collaborate with Academic Deans to review enrollment trends, course success rates, completion data, and DFW (D, F, and Withdrawal) rates for programs offered at the Natchitoches and Sabine Valley campuses and recommend campus-level supports or strategies to address identified needs.
• Work collaboratively with Academic Deans, faculty, Adult Education, workforce partners, and Enrollment Management and Student Services staff to support the development of pathways that strategically braid workforce credentials, academic programs, and student support services together.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and data-informed decision-making across all campus operations.
• Provide campus-level operational leadership to faculty and staff assigned to the Natchitoches and Sabine Valley campuses while fostering a collaborative, student-centered campus culture. while coordinating with the appropriate Academic Deans and Division leaders regarding academic supervision, curriculum, instructional assignments, and other academic matters.

Enrollment Management and Student Services Coordination
• Work closely with Enrollment Management and Student Services to ensure seamless intake, onboarding, and support of new and continuing students.
• Coordinate with Enrollment Management and Student Services to ensure students receive timely assistance with admissions, registration, financial aid processes, FAFSA completion, Louisiana MJ Foster Promise Program applications, course scheduling, and academic planning.
• Coordinate and support student outreach, recruitment, enrollment, registration, advising, graduation, and retention efforts.
• Maintain regular communication with the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Institutional Effectiveness and the Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Services to ensure student needs are identified and addressed promptly.
• Monitor student service delivery and recommend improvements to enhance student access, engagement, persistence, and completion.
• Collaborate with the Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Services and the Title IX Coordinator to support the consistent application of the Student Code of Conduct on the Natchitoches and Sabine Valley campuses.

Academic and Workforce Coordination
• Coordinate campus-level academic programming and activities in collaboration with the appropriate Academic Deans, Academic Affairs, and Workforce Development.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among all academic divisions operating at the Natchitoches and Sabine Valley campuses.
• Identify regional workforce needs and opportunities and collaborate with Workforce Development, Academic Deans, and industry partners to support the development and expansion of workforce and industry-aligned training programs.
• Collaborate with Adult Education and workforce partners to increase credential attainment opportunities and strengthen educational and employment pathways for students.
• Coordinate with Academic Deans and division leaders to monitor faculty office hours and work schedules to ensure compliance with College policies, contractual obligations, student accessibility requirements, and campus operational needs.
• Collaborating with Academic Deans and division leaders to ensure faculty presence and availability supports student engagement, advising, retention, and overall student success.
• Coordinate program efforts related to funding streams (Perkins, Rapid Response, Grants) and work cross-functionally with Finance, Academic Affairs, Workforce Development, and Enrollment Management and Student Services, as appropriate.
Campus Operations and Facility Coordination
• Ensure the effective daily operation of both campuses, including academic, workforce, and student service functions.
• Serve as the primary campus liaison for facilities, maintenance, safety, security, and emergency response matters.
• Notify and coordinate with Facilities Services, Campus Security, and other appropriate departments regarding operational, safety, or security concerns.
• Coordinate facility usage by external organizations, community partners, and other entities utilizing campus facilities to ensure a professional, organized, and seamless experience consistent with College standards.
• Work collaboratively with Facilities Services regarding event logistics, room configurations, equipment needs, and transportation of College assets, including coordination of the BPCC trailer for campus and community events.
• Coordinate technology needs for the Natchitoches and Sabine Valley campuses in collaboration with Computer Services, including the identification and prioritization of resources, equipment, infrastructure, support, maintenance, and issue resolution necessary to support instruction, student services, workforce training, and campus operations.

Community Engagement and College Representation
• Serve as the primary institutional representative for the Natchitoches and Sabine Valley campuses and as an ambassador for Bossier Parish Community College throughout the service region, actively promoting the College's mission, programs, and services.
• Actively promote the College's Caring Campus mission.
• Represent BPCC at community events, workforce initiatives, business and industry engagements, civic organizations, educational partnerships, and regional development activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, businesses, community organizations, governmental agencies, and other stakeholders to support enrollment growth and workforce development efforts.
• Ensure all interactions and activities positively reflect and strengthen the BPCC brand.

Strategic Planning and Institutional Effectiveness
• Develop and implement campus strategies that support annual enrollment growth and student completion goals.
• Participate in institutional effectiveness initiatives, accreditation activities, strategic planning efforts, and assessment processes.
• Prepare reports, analyze operational and student success metrics, and recommend actions to improve institutional performance.
• Serve on College leadership teams, committees, and task forces as assigned.
• Assist in budget preparation and administration for campuses; prepare cost estimates and for budget recommendations; submit justifications for budget items; monitor and control expenditures and budget accounts.
• Coordinate budget development, preparation, and administration for the Natchitoches and Sabine Valley campuses in collaboration with Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management and Student Services, Workforce Development, Finance, and other appropriate College leadership; monitor expenditures within delegated authority to ensure responsible stewardship and alignment with institutional priorities.
• Identify and prioritize resource needs across the campuses and provide recommendations for budget allocations that support enrollment growth, student success, workforce initiatives, and operational effectiveness.
