We currently have a great opportunity for a Federal Government Corporate Accounts Executive. Reports to a Corporate Accounts Director and works in tandem with all Field Sales personnel to include Health System Account Managers and Regional Sales Directors, Marketing personnel, Field Service, etc. in order to achieve “speed to market share” within the Federal Government. Responsible for business decisions between all Federal, State and Local Government facilities and Corporate Accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Accountable for acting independently and for supporting Team members in order to achieve sales objectives within the Federal Government; as outlined by the Director of Corporate Accounts.
Accountable for achievement of their sales objectives within assigned Federal Government accounts annually. Assigned geography and accounts will be comprised of Federal, Stae, and Local Government entities.
Responsible for self-directed and independent execution of all stages of the sales journey process within their assignments, consistent with achievement of company sales standards and sales goals.
Possesses and demonstrates a consistently high level of technical and sales sophistication, professionalism, maturity, tact and diplomacy with both customers and Sysmex associates.
Possess and consistently demonstrate a strong interpersonal, persuasive, problem solving and project management skills.
Must have 5+ years of successful sales experience, with an excellent record of achievement in large, complex accounts. The individual must have excellent technical knowledge of the capital sales, hematology, lab workflow and automation instrumentation. Solid understanding of Government contracting is preferred.
Demonstrates urgency, “can-do” attitude, strong desire to set and achieve goals, and successful teamwork.
Accountable for responsible use of company assets and operation within a specified OPEX budget assigned by the Department Director, and guidelines by VP Sales and Sysmex Corporate.
Sells Sysmex products and services to increase share of market, developing business plans on assigned accounts to identify influencers, decision makers, resources, project manage company people and resources, working within Corporate Account contract limitations.
Other duties and projects as may be assigned.
Physical Risk: Regular exposure to risk that may require alertness, but with minimal precautions.
Physical Demands: Light physical effort. Routine handling of objects up to 20 pounds; prolonged (at least 50% of time) sitting, standing, keyboard or CRT work. May require periods of moderate discomfort due to noise, dust, lighting and/or other conditions.
Travel Required: 50%
Qualifications
- 4 Year Bachelors Degree Required(Science or Business preferred)
- 5-10 Years Experience Other Qualifications Med Tech optional
- These individuals must possess strong selling and negotiating skills, demonstrate an understanding of Corporate Account impact, demonstrate good teamwork, project management, business acumen, organizational impact and a strong competitive instinct.
- They must have successful sales record in large, complex, difficult accounts.
- Microsoft Office competency
- Excellent interpersonal skills, presentation skills, persuasive ability, competitiveness, oral and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze sales opportunities and qualify and rank potential for success. Ability to manage multiple complex, sales opportunities simultaneously. Ability to analyze and manage Customer and Sysmex issues to achieve optimal resolution, with minimal resources, minimal disruption and maximum results.
The salary range for this role is $130,000-$170,000.Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The total compensation package for this position also includes a choice of health care plan (medical, vision, and dental insurance), an annual incentive bonus, car allowance, paid time off, parental leave, bereavement leave and a 401(K) for all eligible employees.
