Job DescriptionEntry-Level Engineer - Examinations Infrastructure Support will assist in maintaining and improving the systems, tools, and facilities used to conduct examinations and tests. Our unit's mission is to provide robust, reliable examination infrastructure that enables accurate assessment of critical hardware components. Responsibilities include supporting the setup, configuration, and checkout of examination systems (such as test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition/controls), troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with senior engineers, technicians, and IT/maintenance personnel to resolve hardware and software problems. The engineer will help maintain documentation, configuration records, and equipment status, and will contribute to system readiness activities, calibrations, and functional checks to ensure reliable and safe execution of examinations.
This position is suited for a recent engineering graduate with a strong technical aptitude, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn new tools and processes quickly. The engineer will work in a team environment, supporting exam operations, participating in post-exam reviews and continuous improvement efforts, and helping to identify opportunities to increase the reliability, usability, and maintainability of examination infrastructure. Clear written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and adherence to safety, security, and quality requirements are essential.
Required Combination of Knowledge and SkillBachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field; or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field.
Preferred Skills- Degree(s) in electrical, mechanical, or nuclear engineering

Pay Range$63,900.00 - $97,800.00 annually
Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
