Overview

We are seeking highly experienced EW/SEAD Duty Officer (EWDO) to support the 505th CTS at Hurlburt Field FL in its mission to deliver joint theater environments and world class scenario generation and exercise control for operational C2 warfighter training.

Responsibilities

  • The EW/SEAD Duty Officer SME must know the details of doctrinal AOC electronic warfare cell processes to coordinate the employment of all replicated air component EW assets in support of air, space, land and maritime operations.
  • The EWDO will replicate the Electronic Warfare Coordination Center (EWCC) representative as required for the exercise.
  • The SME will understand all levels of the EW command and control chain to replicate during exercise planning and execution.
  • The SME will support, advise and execute non kinetic operations to include space, cyber, EW and IO throughout all facets of exercises to help coordinate non-lethal training injects.
  • The SME will also require the ability to define non kinetic strategy to task requirements.
  • The SME will work closely with the air, space, and cyber "fly out" replication cell or other white force members to accurately and effectively support training audience requirements and exercise execution.
  • Will address the following as required by training audience needs and replication/white cell participation by external or internal audiences.
  • Integrate EW and defense suppression assets in support of mission/exercise objectives and training audience objectives.
  • Coordinate with IO Duty Officer and ISR analysts, if replicated or participating, on current order of battle data and nominate immediate enemy Command, Control, Communications and Computer (C4) targets.
  • Ensure simulated or replicated WOCs for all EW and SEAD (Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses) assets are informed of ATO changes. Coordinate any simulated or replicated WOC change inputs or time critical EW asset deficiencies to appropriate AOC RC SMEs or cells.
  • Receive and process immediate EW requests from Air Force, joint or combined forces. Coordinate with SODO, Close Air Support DOs (CASDO) if replicated, Army BCD and other service LNOs as replicated for support requests.
  • Coordinate with the Frequency/Spectrum Manager, BCD, ISRD, and other applicable agencies for frequency deconfliction if required for training objectives or injects.
  • Recommend EW initiatives. Ensure doctrinally correct AOC RC cells are made aware of any major changes in EW asset utilization/availability or other impacts to EW functions.
  • SME will ensure any limitations that will affect the training audience or inject flows are mitigated and communicated to the CCO or SODO.
  • Take action to minimize the impact of EW/SEAD degradation or threat changes to coalition aircraft as required per exercise game plan, desired learning objectives, and injects.


Qualifications

  • 3 years as AOC EWCC Duty Officer or EW, or STO Specialty Team Planner/ Instructor (M) Rated Officer (M).
  • Three years experience In-depth current understanding of Joint and J/CAOC EW planning and execution processes, products and TTPs. Understanding of the Master Air Attack Plan, JAOP and ATO planning Process. Familiarity with TET Team processes. Understand Joint Restricted Frequency List (JRFL), Jamming Control Authority (JCA), EW Spins, Rules of Engagement (ROE), Joint Tactical Air Support Request (JTAR), and Electronic Attack Request Format.
  • Three years experience and In-depth, current knowledge of TBMCS or ICC planning and execution applications with emphasis on ESTAT. Understand all levels of the J/CAOC EW command and control chain. Familiarity with airspace planning and EW deconfliction.
  • Familiarity with Air Force, Army, Marine and Navy Electronic Warfare air, ground, and sea capabilities, and Joint and Allied EW capabilities, systems, and command and control process.
  • Participation in two or more AOC/Joint exercises as EWCC or EWCC Mentor OR participation as EWCC as part of an AOC Replication cell (M).
  • Experience as an AOC exercise designer/planner (HD)
  • NAF-level experience required; AFFOR, MAJCOM Staff experience desired Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Ability to use Microsoft Office, Adobe Pro required
  • DoD Clearance required
