Full Job Description
Under the general supervision of The Arts CAO and Operations Manager, collaborate to develop and implement an event management plan centered on key events in the Arts (Departments of Art History, Art Studio, Cinema & Digital Media, Design, Music and Theatre & Dance) and strategic communications. Plan and manage programs that engage alumni, students, staff, faculty, donors and other key stakeholders. Provide oversight and management to communications and marketing support staff, including student assistants, to ensure effective outreach and program execution. Develop and manage an event calendar and budgets for the Arts in collaboration with leadership and reconciliation of event, travel and entertainment expenses. Support faculty, staff and students through the event development and execution process. Apply By Date: July 10, 2026 Qualifications Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of training and experience. • Strong event managements and leadership experience to develop creative approaches and establishing strategic communication goals and priorities in the management of programs and special events. • Knowledge of the university environment and ability to collaborate effectively across Arts departments and campus units. • Demonstrated ability to implement changes in a fast-paced, creative environment. • Strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse groups, including faculty, staff, students, artists, vendors, and community partners. • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for varied audiences, including event briefings, correspondence, and promotional materials for Arts programs.
