Role OverviewThe Estimator leads preconstruction efforts by preparing accurate cost estimates, managing bid processes, and building strong relationships with clients and partners to help secure new work.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed estimates from conceptual design through final bid
- Perform quantity take-offs and develop accurate project pricing
- Manage bid process including subcontractor/vendor outreach and evaluation
- Identify value engineering opportunities and project risks
- Follow up on bids and support client relationships to drive awards
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field teams
- Maintain current cost data, pricing, and market trends
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of construction industry experience (concrete preferred)
- Strong ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and bid documents
- Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $80,000 - $105,000 annually
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
