Full Job Description
Estimating Manager
is seeking a Estimating Manager who will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop Scopes of work and budgets for Design Build Projects.
  • Solicit subcontractors, vendors and material suppliers thru email list & Blue Book.
  • Continuously developing vendors & sub list for various work regions.
  • Maintain a Drop Box site so that prospective bidders can download the bid documents.
  • Coordinate the project requirements with the subcontractors, vendors and material suppliers required to bid the project.
  • Estimate the project cost & general conditions.
  • Develop spreadsheets that reflect the bid forms for projects.
  • Created various excel spreadsheets to expedite estimating take-offs.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Manages 3-5 subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 20-50 employees in the Project foreman.
  • Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.

Education and/or Experience
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • PMP designation preferred
