Commercial Roofing Estimating ManagerThis role is ideal for an experienced commercial roofing estimator ready to lead a team, an estimating manager from another construction trade, or a senior project manager looking to transition into a leadership position.
We're looking for someone who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and helping teams reach their full potential.
The role can be based in any of our offices -
Charlotte, Raleigh/Garner, or Wilmington.What You'll Do- Lead, coach, and develop estimators across multiple locations
- Conduct one-on-one meetings, training, and performance coaching
- Manage bid schedules, workload distribution, and estimating workflow
- Improve estimating processes, standards, and best practices
- Lead bid reviews and strengthen risk management practices
- Ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and completed on time
- Partner with sales, operations, and senior leadership to support company growth
- Travel regularly to Highland Roofing locations to build relationships and support team development
What We're Looking ForRequired- 5+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience OR 8+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
- Previous leadership, management, or supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of construction estimating principles
- Experience with construction estimating software
- Proven ability to coach and develop employees
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Preferred- Commercial roofing estimating experience
- Experience with The EDGE estimating software
- Process improvement experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
