Full Job Description
This position can be either full-time or part-time, depending on the individual. It offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work remotely. However, candidates must reside in the Knoxville, Tennessee area and be able to come to the office regularly for estate planning meetings and signings. Responsibilities • The candidate will be responsible for drafting legal documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. • Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action. • Supervise administrative staff to ensure smooth operations. • Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence. Qualifications Our Ideal Candidate Will Have: • Membership in good standing with the TN State Bar. • A Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and at least 2 years of estate planning experience post-graduation. • Excellent communication skills. • Demonstrated outstanding writing, research, and analytical skills as well as strong academic credentials. • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, understand their unique needs, and provide effective solutions. • Self-motivated and proven ability to work independently.
