Job DescriptionThe
Operations Supervisor will lead and develop a team of operations associates supporting Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto, and Liability claims. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, claim registrations, financial controls, mail queues, clerical requests and tasks, customer service, and other operational functions as assigned. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in people management, training, root cause analysis, and process improvement.
The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Aligning team goals with ESIS organizational objectives.
- Ensuring direct reports execute assigned responsibilities effectively.
- Providing training and support to team members to meet current and evolving business needs.
- Developing and implementing improvement plans at both the individual and team levels.
- Planning ahead to ensure appropriate coverage, identifying risks, and working proactively with the team, manager, and peers to address them.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement, recommending process enhancements, and presenting recommendations to stakeholders for alignment and support.
- Building strong working relationships and collaborating across departments to support effective execution of functions and special projects.
- Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Traveling occasionally for training and meetings, as approved by management.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience managing direct reports preferred
- Ability to contribute effectively in a team environment and support team goals
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and support skills
- Ability to learn quickly and share knowledge effectively with others
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions
- Insurance background, particularly in Commercial Auto, Liability, and Workers' Compensation claims, preferred but not required

The base salary range for the role is $73,000 to $107,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors.
