OverviewResponsible for leading financial governance and billing integrity across equipment operations. This role is accountable for ensuring accurate cost allocation, improving data reliability, and driving performance against key Equipment Support KPIs that directly impact project cost and execution.
Location & Travel Details: This position can be located at any of our office locations: Phoenix, AZ; Clinton, IN; Indianapolis, IN; Centennial, CO; Irving, TX; or Fargo, ND. Based on the experience and skillset of the individual identified, we are open to a remote-based role with ability to travel to our office and field site locations to support events or department activities.
Responsibilities- Establish and enforce standards for billing accuracy, accrual precision, and cost-coding compliance against Equipment Support KPIs
- Provide strategic direction to the Equipment Support team, ensuring consistent execution across all projects and maintaining a high standard of service to field operations
- Lead initiatives to improve data reliability within the Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP)
- Partner cross functional departments or vendors to optimize Equipment processes
- Oversee the month-end rental accrual process and insurance allocation, ensuring all equipment is accurately captured and allocated properly
- Own and support equipment utilization and spend reporting
- Serve as a liaison between cross functional departments
- Monitor insurance allocation and safety compliance documentation to mitigate financial and operational risks
- Monitor team volume and reassign tasks dynamically to ensure the department meets weekly and monthly Equipment Support KPIs
- Own the full lifecycle of the team's talent, from participating in interviews and hiring to managing the offboarding process
- Identify individual training needs within the team and drive accountability
- Manage the annual performance review process and establish clear, measurable goals and feedback
- Other duties as assigned
QualificationsWork Experience and Education- Associates degree preferred and/or combination of education and experience
- Five+ years relevant experience; supervisory experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the Company's Zero Injury principles
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (lookups, pivots, data cleaning) and the ability to navigate ERP and Telematics platforms at an expert level
- Deep understanding of project cost-coding, accrual accounting, and the financial lifecycle of equipment utilization
- High-level of proficiency in ERP systems and a strong understanding of how specialized data integrates with financial platforms
- Ability to manage a team by delegating effectively while holding the team accountable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, advocate, and collaborate with stakeholders
Work Environment & Physical Requirements- When visiting jobsites the work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions
- This work environment may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises
