Full Job Description
Your Role:

EMD Electronics is seeking an Equipment Engineering Manager. As an Engineering Lead for our semiconductor delivery equipment you are an integral part of the success of our Delivery Systems and Services business. The business demands that you prioritize safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency. You will drive the execution of new semiconductor equipment offerings that are distributed globally by interacting with quality, operations, engineering, sales, site services, and sourcing teams internally. You will be instrumental in translating customer needs into a valued offering that EMD Electronics can provide. You will create the engineering solutions to the problems facing the advancement of the electronics industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Mentor junior team members and direct reports
  • Delegate Strategic Product line tasks to your team
  • Ensure code and certification compliance of equipment
  • Review and Approve Product Line MOC's
  • Review and Approve time sheets, expense reports
  • Complete BSP (Basic Safety Process) Level 2 activities
  • Manage performance reviews and development plans for direct reports
  • Collaborate with other lead engineers to allocate execution task resources
  • Lead a dedicated product team to:
    • Develop new product line options/derivatives and identify improvements for margin and performance; qualify new components; manage product-line documentation (standards, specs, qualification plans, manuals)
    • Standardize design rules, test procedures, and modeling tools; develop clear cross-functional scope for design, electrical, software, and firmware engineering
    • Support BCP with alternate components and design options; troubleshoot technical issues; support quality investigations
    • Assist sales in technical conversations with customers


This position will include travel of up to 10%.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering field
  • 7+ years of experience in an Engineering role


Preferred Qualification:
  • 10+ years of experience in an engineering role
  • 5 years of experience with semiconductor aqueous chemical and slurry delivery
  • Semiconductor/microelectronics or related experience
  • Proven success in applying problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to understand technical details of products to troubleshoot and drive improvements.
  • Leadership skills to influence focus on product development
  • Critical attention to detail and investigation skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks, ASPEN, HAZOP, FMEA, MOC and Flow Modeling applications
  • Experience with advanced process control techniques and applications
  • Experience with Semi standards
  • Knowledgeable in application of metrology including: densitometers, chemical concentration monitors, conductivity meters, liquid particle counters, liquid detectors, pressure and flow transmitters, mass/liquid flow control, spectroscopy
  • Experience collaborating with diverse, global teams to meet business and customer needs
  • An enthusiastic learner, who wants to solve complex problems in a thriving organization


Pay Range for this position: $100,700 - $151,100

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
