Responsibilities

  • Validate project scope, noting deviations and optimizations for assigned projects.
  • Generate project submittals and provide technical support to engineers and contractors.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Compare estimated ship dates with contractor schedules ensuring compliance with equipment ordering processes.
  • Maintain accuracy of project budget forecasts and monitor expenses.
  • Enter equipment orders, issue purchase orders, and generate work orders for equipment start-ups.
  • Utilize various computer programs and software for project management and equipment selection.

Full Job Description
Where is the work:
Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.

What you will do:
  • Validates project scope, listing deviations, and optimization on assigned projects.
  • Generates project submittals and answers technical support questions asked by engineers and contractors.
  • Communicates with customers and their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff. Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.
  • Compares estimated ship dates with contractors project schedule and ensures compliance with internal equipment ordering processes.
  • Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion and controls expenses by monitoring assigned project budget.
  • Responsible for entering equipment orders, issuing purchase, and generating work orders for equipment start-ups
  • Able to use necessary computer programs and selection software (i.e. Worksight, Trane Select Assist, vendor selection software/websites, etc.)


What you will bring:
  • Associate's degree in engineering or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of project management, equipment, HVAC or related experience; OR a minimum of four (4) years of project management, equipment, HVAC or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and temperature equipment preferred.
  • Strong, demonstrated customer service and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proven experience prioritizing tasks in order to meet tight deadlines within a high paced environment with attention to detail.

$60,000.00 - $109,340.00
